The Learning and Knowledge Development Facility (LKDF), partners with the Forum on Globalization and Industrialization (FGI), and the Research Network on Sustainable Global Supply Chains to convene the LKDF Forum 2023 - Skills for Sustainability in Global Supply Chains.
Participating in global supply chains has undeniably boosted productivity and created jobs. However, the social and environmental aspects within these supply chains have seen minimal improvement. It is time to address this challenge head-on.

The LKDF Forum 2023 underscores the pivotal role of skills development in achieving sustainability within supply chains. This is especially pertinent given the surge in mandatory due diligence regulations in the Global North. The discussions will center around how developing and industrializing economies can enhance their position in the global supply chain landscape by elevating their skills and knowledge related to sustainable industrialization.

The LKDF Forum 2023 will take place on 13 and 14 November 2023 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC). While the first day will be broadcast live on Microsoft Teams, the second day is an invitation-only, closed-door event.
